Co-Pastor, Central Baptist Church - Houston, Texas

Roy joined the staff of Central Baptist Church on September 1, 1995, serving as the Senior Citizens Director.

He and his wife, Shirley, were married on October 14, 1995, and they have two daughters, Victoria and Valerie, and an adopted son, John, from the Philippines. His wife grew up on the mission field in Uruguay where her parents are still working and building churches.

Roy earned his Masters in Ministry from Louisiana Baptist University, and was called to serve with his father as the Co-Pastor of Central Baptist Church in March of 2002. He was ordained by Central Baptist on May 5, 2002.

Roy's desire is to see Central Baptist Church continue to reach and serve this community as we endeavor to fulfill the Great Commission. He has a passion and love for missions and missionaries and considers it a great honor to be on the Board of Directors of Central Missionary Clearinghouse.
